I would like to take this opportunity to recommend Doug Williams to you as a realtor. As you enter the Vancouver realty market (either as a vendor or a buyer) you will need to have someone on your side – someone to help you through the maze of open houses and decisions to be made. Doug has been that person to me and I thank him for all his efforts.

My family and I recently moved to Vancouver from England. Prior to our move I made a visit to Vancouver to scout out the market and conduct some due diligence in regards to schools and areas of Vancouver that would suit my family’s needs. Even though I was not in the position to purchase during that time, Doug was very hospitable and accommodating. He took me on a tour of the city and arranged for me to view some properties so that I had a clear idea of what was on the market in the different areas. He also went out of his way to find out information about schools, sports clubs and support services for one of my children who has special needs. While we were still in England waiting to move to Canada, Doug kept me up to date with regular emails about the Vancouver market so that when we arrived we were up to speed on current prices and properties.

Once in the country we needed to move quite quickly and again, Doug helped us by setting up viewings and helping us identify issues (pros and cons) of properties and areas so that we could make an informed decision. Building practices and property purchase systems are very different between England and Canada and so even though we were not first time home owners, it felt like that when we arrived here. There were so many things to know and look for that I am convinced we would not have had the relatively stress-free purchasing experience we had without Doug helping us out.

Subsequent to our initial purchase, Doug has since helped me to purchase another property. Again, due to my personal circumstances, Doug went out of his way to assist me in locating a perfect property to suit my needs. His professionalism and good nature is what made me ask for his assistance in the second purchase and should I be in the position to sell or buy another property, I know that I will be calling on him again.

 I had decided to move to Canada from the UK and it was my good fortune to find Doug Williams via the internet. I did not realize how good my luck was until I met Doug in person.

 Long before we met face to face, Doug asked me many questions about my
family's aspirations and life choices - long before he discussed my property
requirements - building up background information which ultimately proved so
worthwhile to both parties. The key area for me was education availability,
vital in my opinion to build good foundations for successful living. Doug
